With a mission of fighting hunger, improving lives and strengthening communities, The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank is a non-profit charitable food organization working to end hunger in 27 central Pennsylvania counties. The Food Bank serves more than 152,000 individuals per month through its network of 1,000 partner agencies and programs.
The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank is committed to providing healthy, nutritious food to people in need. Over the past year, the Food Bank distributed more than 14 million pounds of fresh produce and nearly six millions servings of fresh milk.
The Food Bank’s territory is wide, but its impact is local. To sustain the mission of feeding our neighbors in need at the local level, the Food Bank shares its resources to invest in these critical partners. It offers Bold Goal Grants so its partners can improve their capacity, provide more refrigerator and freezer space, expand their selection of food items, and set up efficient distribution methods.
To make a difference for your neighbors in need, and help the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank fulfill its mission, please consider donating or volunteering. A donation of just $1 helps the Food Bank provide up to six nutritious meals. Food Bank volunteers help pack hundreds of thousands of boxes full of healthy food for our neighbors in need.
